Here is an approximate wedding day for Deus Sax:

Firstly, I set up for both the ceremony and reception before your guests arrive.

I then either press play on Spotify, perform acoustically, or play the sax for your aisle song, two signing songs, and the recessional song (this one is usually on Spotify).

I will usually then keep playing acoustically straight after the ceremony or rushing around moving my gear to the canapes location (depending on the run-sheet).

Once Canapes begins, I will be playing acoustically to entertain your guests while you are off taking beautiful photos.

The entrance into the reception space is always super fun. I liaise with your chosen MC and song choices to ensure it brings a lot of excitement to the room. Definitely worth thinking about getting the sax involved in the entrance!

The dinner set is either the acoustic duo performing some more upbeat well known tunes (for stand up/cocktail dinners) or it’s a roaming sax playing along to a backing track (for sit down dinners).

The speeches are usually done with my mics and speakers to ensure everyone from your energetic tipsy brother to your quiet reserved grandma can be heard.

The first dance follows, being played on Spotify, performed as an acoustic duo, or performed on the sax.

Straight after the first dance is usually the best time to kick start the dance floor either with the DJ/Sax or live band (acoustic with a drummer) depending on the package and type of vibe you’re going for.

The sax comes out every few songs to make sure the dance floor stays busy and has heaps of energy.

After playing the final banger and saying goodbye, I then have the super fun job of packing everything down.

Yes! Both packages include supplying a wireless mic for the celebrant, MC, and/or speeches.

I am currently based in Victoria, Australia but I have travelled to Sydney, Italy, France, Croatia, and New York for weddings.

So I am more than willing to travel for any event!

If it is via plane, we will just need to talk further about what I can still provide for your special day.

Sort of… 95% of my events are weddings but I definitely do enjoy doing other events!

I also offer a Sax Only Reception Package which just means that I will play sax along with your chosen DJ.

I do however prefer to be there for your whole day and be in full control of the vibes!
